Bobby Hodgson is a Skadden Fellow at the New York Civil Liberties Union, where he focuses on LGBTQ youth issues and other civil rights and civil liberties litigation and advocacy. He will be presenting at WYGEC about the NYCLU's judicial work to promote gender equality, and he will be hosting an informational "Know Your Rights" workshop.

"Half the Sky"- Achieving Worldwide Equality

Natalie Schlosberg is the president of her high school's gender equality organization. She will be hosting a workshop on global gender equality, with an emphasis on the bestselling franchise "Half the Sky" and its implications for the gender equality movement.

Maggie Keenan-Bolger is an actress, singer, playwright, applied theater practicioner, and sex educator. She founded the Honest Accomplice Theater in 2012 with a mission to generate dialogue and stimulate change by focusing on topics that are often silenced, seen as shameful, or portrayed as one-dimensional, specifically through the lens of the female experience. She will be presenting at WYGEC about her experience founding this organization.

"Shared Stories Open Minds"

The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) Hudson Valley is a volunteer, non-profit organization, providing resources and school trainings to Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Duchess, Orange, and Ulster schools. One of our initiatives, called "Shared Stories Open Minds," involves partnering with local public and school libraries to educate students about the LGBT community. We are looking for more student volunteers to help us promote and present the program in local libraries. Join me to find out more about this project and how you might help us.

Center Lane is Westchester's only lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth and community education center. Designed to reduce the isolation that many LGBTQ young people feel and promote a community culture that is supportive of LGBTQ youth, the center provides an opportunity for socialization, enhanced self-esteem and personal growth in a safe place where they can be themselves without the fear of harassment. Center Lane will be hosting an LGBT 101 workshop at WYGEC.

My Sisters' Place is a county-wide organization with a mission to end violence in intimate relationships and combat the effects of domestic violence and human trafficking on women, men, and children throughout Westchester County. My Sister's Place will be hosting two workshops  at WYGEC. Their first workshop will be about forming healthy relationships. Their second workshop will explore how gender stereotypes relate to domestic violence.

Rabbi Ferris was ordained in 1981 at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, the Reform Seminary of North America and Israel. She served for 25 years in the rabbinate and is now Rabbi Emerita of Temple Israel of Northern Westchester in Croton, NY. She has worked for justice all her life -- for feminist causes, for LGBT rights, for the homeless, for seniors, for the incarcerated. She will be running a workshop on ancient vs. modern ideals of women at WYGEC.

She and Zoe will be presenting a workshop on Dress Codes and Slut Shaming at WYGEC, with a focus on past incidences of mysoginist punishments for dress code infractions within the Sleepy Hollow school system.
